ACTION DESCPRITION MEANING SITUATION
GROOMING content, secure, but not clean enough
LISTENING something interesting has captured the hamster's attention
SNIFFING the hamster has found an interesting smell or is exploring
BIG SNIFF investigating a new place
SCENT MARKING when a syrian rubs his hips, or a dwarf rubs his belly against objects this is my territory to mark his cage and territory that the hamster wants
CLICKING happy
TEETH GRINDING irritated, leave me alone
SQUEEKING agitated, wanting attention
HISSING made by the hamster in a crouched position with its mouth wide open-very upset and frightened
